Starting out, you will have no petz in your possession, but you are taken the the Adoption Center where a selection of different breedz of both dogz and catz awaits. Since I only have Petz 4 and Petz 5 currently (though I first played Petz II), I will be using Petz 4 as the main example of gameplay. More about this later, though.įirst, I want to explain what Petz is. Though Petz 5 is still basically the same game, there were several additions and changes that cause fans of the previous games to dislike it. Magic, but between Petz 4 and 5, the Petz franchise was bought by UBI Soft. I'm talking about Petz II, Petz 3, Petz 4, and Petz 5. Those are not the games I am referring to. If you're younger than that, you may be thinking of the 3D games by UBI Soft called Petz Dogz, Petz Catz, and Petz Horsez. If you were a kid in the mid to late 90's and had a computer, you might know what I'm talking about. This way, if you don't know what Petz is when you find this blog, you can learn before reading about my personal petz adventures. I felt it appropriate for the first post in this blog to be introducing Petz.
